The 2026 edition marks the inaugural cohort, laying the foundation for what is envisioned to become a premier annual leadership platform in Nigeria and across the JCI global network.

PNOL Academy is Named After a Legend.

Professor Nnenna Oti is the 8th Substantive Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, a trailblazer, an academic, and a woman whose impact on FUTO's history is undeniable.

Naming this academy after her is not just an honour, it is a declaration that the leaders who pass through here are expected to carry that same standard of excellence, integrity, and vision into everything they do.

It Was Born From a Movement.

PNOL Academy didn't start in a boardroom, it started in a training room. The academy grew out of the Collegiate Revitalization Training (CRT) program organized by JCI Nigeria SS/SE, specifically the energy and vision that came out of the 6.0 cohort.

What began as a commitment to developing young people on campus has now evolved into a full-scale residential leadership academy. This is what happens when a community takes its own development seriously.

PNOL Academy exists to identify, equip, and empower young leaders with the skills, values, and networks needed to drive transformative change in their communities and beyond. Not just to train, but to transform.

Every session, every simulation, every mentorship conversation is designed with one goal in mind: to send out leaders who are ready to make a real difference wherever they find themselves.
